| Bio Treasure the Dreams and Act upon Them |
Though I was a highly intuitive child, I became mostly analytical since intuition wasn't valued or
taken seriously while I was growing up. I went on to pursue my professional training in business
as an MBA; since I love analysis, and numbers and logic came naturally to me. After nine years
working for the non-profit sector as a financial/budget analyst, I decided to pursue my current
passions and also felt more fulfilling as I could help one-on-one. Several years and energy had
been gone into these passions - Healing arts practitioner, jewelry design and fitness. Through the
healing arts I can help, heal and grow and through jewelry design I can see my creativity
expressed in physical form.
I discovered that what I had considered a negative: high sensitivity, was actually a positive, an
empathetic ability that could help others. As I accepted this side as valuable as my analytical and
logical side, I encountered great teachers and friends who were demystifying and helpful. I had
feared doing anything such as counseling because sometimes I'd feel drained after giving advice
to friends or strangers who requested it. However, I was blessed enough to encounter modalities
and teachers where I learned to channel energy rather than solely use my own.
I always had an interest in the mystical, fascinated by mystery movies from the UK, though scary
the mystery seemed to call to me. My first encounter with anything esoteric was tarot card readings
with my aunt. As a teenager I thought it would be cool to learn this fascinating art, but didn't really
go into it seriously. Later, another friend brought the tarot back into my life and though that's not
my main reading tool, I became once again fascinated. I started making jewelry and had a reading
that same day by a wonderful reader, Karol, who gave me the best reading of my life. Why?
Because she helped me understand myself better, why I was the way I was, what motivated me,
what hindered me and what I could do about it. It was very therapeutic yet fun and loving at the
same time. Since this was the most helpful reading to me, I unconsciously provide that's type of
reading now. She mentioned I should look into mediumship. I didn't know what it was so it really
didn't phase me. Though growing up in Ecuador, we always believed in" the souls". They
protected us, they heard us. Little did I know we could hear them, I'd kid around saying if so and
so were here he'd say this. Turns out I wasn't that far off. A sense of humor, curiosity, and joy is
what's allowed me to explore these skills. But I was still reluctant, once I ran into a flyer from the A.
R.E Center of New York that Dr Lauren Thibodeau would offer an introductory class. I waited till
the last minute the night before (resisting) and said if this is for me there'd still be a space, and
there was. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience as fun and healing and thought I'd LOVE to do
this. This is awesome! So I signed up for her circle, and the rest is history.
This led me to later pursue a couple of workshops at Arthur Findlay College for Mediumship in the
UK, and again, I found it magical, healing and fun, not only for myself but for others as well.
At about the same time I started mediumship training, I also started my reiki training, which were
very complementary. I have also explored other healing energy types such as Spiritual Healing,
The Reconnection and Quantum Touch. Sometimes I combine these if I feel that’s what’s called for
.
Among other spiritual and creative pursuits, I’ve been/am a student of yoga, martial arts and
dance, fitness, an initiate of one of the mystery schools and experienced first-hand shamanic
cleansings and healings in Ecuador. The study of karate led to yoga, which led to meditation,
reiki, mediumship, psychic and all other kinds of development, which have led me here now.
I am practical yet intuitive, which helps me provide readings that are balanced since they don’t
come through just with a happy-go-lucky feeling but the empowerment to actually take steps to help
you re-balance your life. Readings are mostly for self-empowerment, though they are not always
prophetic. They are to help others have more information so they can make better decisions.
Healings and readings are comfortable and comforting and always confidential. They are caring
yet honest. At the end of a session, I hope to have helped you help yourself by reminding you of
your own connection to Spirit in a positive healing way. The future is only potential, and we are
each responsible for our actions since we have the gift of free will. I believe good advice is only as
good as it’s communicated in a loving way and then applied by the person receiving it. We are here
to support each other in our growth, not enable each other to be stuck in comfortable yet painful
states. The Universe hurts when you hurt so it is concocting a way right now to see you content
again but you have to act on it, even if it is asking for help from above or from people. Please know
you’re being helped and guided. You are more than enough!
